My 100th Show!

Pictured here with my friend and mentor, artist Dave Bartholet.

I am so excited my eyes are closed. :)

A couple of weeks ago

I celebrated

my 100th show

as an art vendor!!!

I'm pictured here with Dave Bartholet who is the artist who changed my life and sped up my growth by inspiring me to start doing art shows. Such a game changer for my life and my creative path.

I have been blessed to show and sell my art to people from all over the United States and beyond because of that life changing encounter with Dave. There is a quote that says, "When the student is ready the teacher will appear." Dave appeared in my life right on time when I was ready and willing to take steps to enter the art show life.

When the student is ready the teacher will appear.

Just this morning I have sold two originals that will go into the homes of a nurse and a newly retired doctor. I am so enriched in providing inspirational art that evokes empowerment to my patrons.

So much GRATITUDE !

I began art vending with focused intention less than two years ago. I am wild with pride and a sense of accomplishment that I have achieved such a milestone in a short period of time. I thought I would be an expert by now with 100+ shows under my belt, but nope... the more you know the more you don't know and the more I see I always have room to grow and expand in my experiences as a fulltime art seller.

I have discovered many things about myself with all of these art shows. The one thing I have learned the most is that I am not really an artist :

I am an Inspirationalist.

Art is a channel and a means for me to connect to others in a timely and meaningful way. There have been many conversations and encounters in my art booth with people from all over the world who are drawn to my art and what I offer. Art is the visual energy that draws people into my sphere of influence. It is my heartfelt honor to again and again have the opportunity to offer inspiration, encouragement, and empowerment to others.

I am so fulfilled by these opportunities that I am actively cultivating vision in order to expand my reach. How can I have a positive impact on more people beyond my art booth ? That is the big question that I am sharpening clarity for. I am not sure, but there are small fires smouldering in my imagination. I feel certain that in 2024 I will have some new avenues of creative inspiration to explore.

Art shows are just the beginning for me.

I am so proud of these first 100... may the next 100 lead me to more opportunties to engage with others in order to inspire and empower as many people as I can within my world.

Onward !
