This art is inspired by the Death's-head Hawkmoth, also known as simply, the death moth. 
 
Feared as an omnimous sign in some cultures and lore, it is also a symbol for  personal changes that  lead to metamorphosis and growth.  The moth's ability to fly in darkness can  also be reflected upon as a metaphor of vulnerability to navigate spaces of uncertainty, that lack illumination and clarity. This is the nature of blind faith.
