  • Intimate Details about This Art

This is the largest painting I have made to date! It has a lot of energy going on, a very urban feel. I lived in Hong Kong for years when I was a younger woman. This work of art reminds me of Hong Kong, of the vibrancy and liveliness of the city which seemed to rarely quiet down.

I call it Stay for there are a few words etched in the art. The fear of being alone even in a crowded city is a common challenge for many people in urban settings. Never alone, yet lonely can be confusing.

I explore this feeling of abandonment in the midst of the hustle and bustle of urban life.
