Demons to Allies
 
Mixed-media with acrylic and collage.   Hand-typed original prose from  a vintage Smith-Corona typewriter my mother got for my father who never used it. 
 
The words read,
 
"I sat down with demons and LISTENED
In the dark spaces of their negative words I saw a THREAD of LIGHT
We held hands as words became portals to wisdom only found in the dark
My demons became allies....
Because my demons Are the broken places of my love-seeking heart"
 
Framed in a simple black frame with non-breakable glass for a display size of 9.5x12.5.
