Intimate Details about This Art
I love alder trees. They grow everywhere here in my home in the Pacific Northwest. They do not live for very long in terms of tree years. By age 50, they are considered seniors. They will begin to weaken and usually topple down in a storm. Yet their life-giving nutrients will serve the forest eco-system by feeding the earth with it's rich nitrogen properties, even after it has fallen. Alder trees die young, but they give Life for a long, long time.
