Join me for my annual Word of the Year workshop—a creative and empowering alternative to traditional New Year’s resolutions.

Instead of fleeting goals, we’ll focus on choosing a single word that will guide, inspire, and ground you throughout 2025.

In this In-Person  workshop, I’ll lead you step by step to create a unique mixed-media collage that beautifully showcases your Word of the Year. Using acrylic paint, collage materials, and other expressive mediums, you’ll craft a one-of-a-kind artwork that reflects your hopes, intentions, and dreams for the year ahead.

This is beginner friendly workshop that is also enriching for seasoned art makers.

THE VENUE

Hosted by Darina Neyret Portrait Studio, this workshop will be on the second level of an old and charming building located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. There is no elevator service. Convenient street parking is nearby. Make a day of it in downtown Vancouver with it's

many eclectic shops and restaurants.

LIMITED CLASS SIZE

I am keeping this one small with 8 maximum. Register right away as this is the only In-Person Word of the Year class I am teaching this season. LIVestream online options are available which you may view HERE

Cancellation Policy

This is a non-refundable workshop. Due to the nature of what I offer, I am unable to provide a refund or credit to a future workshop. You may transfer your spot to another person if you are unable to attend. Just let me know so I can add their name to the roster.  In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond my control warrant canceling the event, students will receive a full refund.
