Wild and Free Mixed-media Collage

Mixed-media collage is the layering of collage elements and paint that result in tapestries of color, pattern and texture that are as unique as the one making it. It is a forgiving art process that allows for much freedom to indulge creative curiosity.

In this four hour workshop, you will be guided step by step in creating an 11x14 mixed-media collage with paper, acrylic paint as well as other mediums to make a highly layered artwork.

This is a beginner friendly workshop as well as suitable for the seasoned art maker.

Hosted by The Arts Centered (the former Fort Vancouver library) in Vancouver, WA, this workshop is limited to 12 participants. Ages 13 on up are welcome with a parent or guardian.

Come spend an afternoon in the company of others being creative. It is firmly established that making art helps calm down our minds, our bodies as well as our nervous systems. Come get your art on and enjoy the magic of instant camaraderie as you create unique art alongside others. I will guide you every step of the way in a highly supportive environment. You will delight yourself in what you create!

This is a non-refundable workshop. Due to the nature of what I offer, I am unable to provide a refund or credit to a future workshop. You may transfer your spot to another person if you are unable to attend. Just let me know so I can add their name to the roster.  In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond my control warrant canceling the event, students will receive a full refund.
