Are you an artist feeling the pull to explore selling what you create?  Perhaps you would like a small  side hustle to bring in extra money or maybe you're dreaming of becoming a fulltime creative entrepreneur.  The business of art is a multi-billion dollar industry.  No one makes art like you do. Is it time to offer what only you can create to the art lovers who are waiting for you?

This cohort is right for you if you can make a  6-week commitment to learning about The Art of Selling Art.

Some of the topics we will cover include:

• Dive into the 5 W’s of selling
• Learn how to develop a marketing strategy that works for You
• Tips and tricks to becoming a business minded creative
• A full session on How To Reproduce and Print Your Art into prints, cards and more
• Practical and motivational guidance to merge you into creative entrenpreneurship

This six week cohort is right for you if you possess the following three qualities :

• You have an established creative practice in your life with a growing body of work to show for it
• You have already sold or given your work away which demonstrates your willingness to let go of your *art babies*
• You believe you have something of value to offer and are able to receive payment for it

Here is the six-week schedule of what you can expect if you decide to join  The Art of Selling Art Cohort:

Nov 15 - Explore your 5 W's of What, Why, When, Who  and Where of selling your art with a LIVEstream Zoom group call

Nov 22 - No Zoom call in observance of Thanksgiving. There will be a homework assignment.

Nov 29 - How to use social media to  effectively market what you offer.  We will have a LIVEstream Zoom group call

Dec 6    - A full session on how to reproduce your art into prints, cards and other products. This will be a 2 and half hour LIVEstream Zoom call. 

Dec 13  - The art of business. In this two hour LIVEstream Zoom call we will focus on the nuts and bolts of business such as licensure, tax considerations, reseller permits and wholesale. This session is meant to quickly highlight various aspects of building a creative business.  

Dec 20  -  Our last session will be a time for each participant to be the Center of Attention for focused group guidance. This will provide a rich opportunity for inviting the wisdom of others to help loosen you up with any area you feel confounded about in developing the art of selling your art.  This will be a 2 and half hour LIVEstream Zoom call. 

For your participation in this cohort you also receive a One hour consult with me which is available anytime for you to schedule until February 1st. Your consult may be in person, via Zoom or by phone.  

There is much value being provided in this workshop series with eleven hours of instruction time and one hour consultation for a total of 12 hours designed  to move you forward in your customized path of selling  art.  Please note that Paypal offers installment plans for those who qualify.

• Stable wifi 
• A Zoom account which is free
• Ability to join LIVEstream meetings undistracted
• Notebook or journal
• An example of your artwork to share with the group

Refund Policy

There are no refunds nor workshop credits available if you are unable to attend after registering.  LIVEstream meetings will be recorded and a link available to participants.  Please ensure that you have the ability to make the commitment needed to The Art of Selling Art Cohort. Besides the weekly LIVEstream meeting, there will be some homework assignments that  will take  about an hour or so each week.  In the unlikely event that I need to cancel the series, a full refund minus the processing fee will be promptly given.
