Inspired by the crow and the hummingbird, this immersive outdoor retreat invites you to slow down, listen to birdsong, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your creativity in a peaceful forest setting.

We will spend the day observing the natural world, enjoying creative camaraderie, and creating expressive watercolor and mixed media artwork inspired by the beauty, movement, and spirit of birds. Along the way, I'll share techniques, demonstrations, and creative prompts designed to help you create art that feels personal, expressive, and uniquely your own.

This retreat is about much more than painting birds. It is an opportunity to step away from everyday responsibilities, spend unrushed time in nature, and nourish your creative spirit alongside a small community of fellow art lovers.

During our day together, you will:

• Create an expressive crow painting using watercolor and mixed-media

• Paint a colorful hummingbird inspired by the beauty of the forest

• Slow down and deepen your observation of the natural world

• Enjoy creative conversation and connection with fellow participants

This artful day is beginner friendly as well as useful for the seasoned art maker who craves fresh inspiration.

All ART SUPPLIES PROVIDED

• Professional Grade Watercolor Paint

• Pro level paint brush

• High grade watercolor paper

• Effective mixed-mediums that perform instead of frustrate

  
  

At the end of the day, you'll also take home a retreat art bag filled with your paintings, nature-inspired reflections, and creative resources that will inspire you beyond our day retreat of Painting Wings in the Wild.

Limited to 12 participants

Youth welcome to register with a registered adult.

Lewisville Park is ADA accessible though take note there is uneven ground to navigate. The restroom is approximately 300 feet away. Reach out if you need support with accomodations.

REFUND POLICY

This is a non-refundable creative event. Due to the nature of what I offer, I am unable to provide a refund or credit to future events. You may transfer your spot to another person if you are unable to attend. Just let me know so I can add their name to the roster.  In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond my control warrant canceling the event, students will receive a full refund.
