Mixed-media Collage with Rumi Wisdom

This is a private workshop hosted by Marie and Joseph in their home.  Limited to just 10 participants, this art workshop is beginner friendly as well as enjoyable for the seasoned art maker. 

I will guide you step by step to create a one-of-a-kind 8x10 artwork that features a quote from Rumi. By the end of the workshop you will have a completed artwork to take home with you. 

Rumi was a 13th century poet and Sufi scholar renowned for his wisdom and insights. His words and teachings have endured to this day.

"Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames."  (Rumi)

I  provide all materials including paint, collage elements, canvas panels as well as Rumi quotes. You are welcome to print out and bring your own Rumi quote if you like. I recommend using matte paper or plain printer paper.  Otherwise, JUST BRING YOU!

Our art time will last approximately three hours from 1p to 4p. We will focus on art making during this time.  Feel free to bring snacks/drinks to share. I ask my workshop participants to refrain from alcohol during our art making time. Marie and Joseph welcome everyone to stay afterwards for a time of socializing and imbibing... and showing off your art !

Cancellation Policy

This is a non-refundable workshop. Due to the nature of what I offer, I am unable to provide a refund or credit to a future workshop. You may transfer your spot to another person if you are unable to attend. Just let me know so I can add their name to the roster.  In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond my control warrant canceling the event, participants will receive a full refund.
