About the Event

IN-PERSON Workshop

Hosted by First Presbyterian Church in Vancouver, Wa

In this workshop, students will be taught how to create loose and expressive watercolor florals.

You will be guided step by step in how to use transfer paper to lay down the drawing before painting. Using a loose watercolor style you will discover how forgiving and indulgent watercolor painting can be when it is approached with a playful brush.

This is a satisfying process that gets the creative juices flowing. All levels are welcome.

Beginner friendly as well as helpful for the seasoned painter. I will show you ways to loosen up your grip and allow the art to flow through you in an enjoyable, free flowing style to create floral paintings that are satisfying to bring to life.

This  workshop is being hosted by First Presbyterian Church in their community room. Limited to just 10 students, there is ample room for you to make your art in a shared space. Accessible with no stairs and a generous parking lot, this community space is ideal for an art workshop for people of all mobility considerations.

Each student will make and take home two 9x12 paintings on watercolor paper.

Cancellation Policy

This is a non-refundable workshop. Due to the nature of what I offer, I am unable to provide a refund or credit to a future workshop. You may transfer your spot to another person if you are unable to attend. Just let me know so I can add their name to the roster.  In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond my control warrant canceling the event, students will receive a full refund minus the service fee.
