a day long retreat for women 

Women are meant to be creative. The energy of life and all her force breathes and pulses through a woman especially when she is creative. 

The forest bursts with creative life energy as well. I can think of no better place to bring women for a daylong retreat of art making, journaling and forest soaking.  

Imagine sitting in a wood built shelter surrounded by the lush green goodness of a Pacific Northwest forest. The birds are singing while a gentle breeze moves through the trees. A nearby stream flows gently allowing you to dip your toes in it's cool, clear water.  It is in this gorgeous setting where I will lead you in collage art making, watercolor painting, journaling as well as introduce you to the practice of what I call Forest Soaking. (Others call it Forest Bathing, a simple practice of engaging a forest in an unhurried state that can be meditative and restorative.)

Join me at the Wildwood Recreation Site near Mount Hood for a day long creative retreat designed to nourish your body, mind and heart. 

NO ART EXPERIENCE NEEDED !  

This time together is designed to give you a beautiful day to indulge your creative nature.  Artmaking, journaling and forest soaking will be our portals to nourish our vitality.  The world today, more than ever,  needs Inspired and Empowered Women. Self-care is  important as women navigate the uncertainties of the world in which we live.

Our day will include two art sessions for you to create artwork to take home. This is beginner friendly as well as helpful for the seasoned art maker.

COVID Protocols

We will observe current COVID mandates.

Our forest shelter is an outdoor venue.

Masks are not required. Each participant is encouraged to take care of their health.

Personal Comfort

There is  a clean and easy to access restroom with flushing toilets close by to our forest shelter. Walking paths are paved and mostly flat. Appropriate footwear for the outdoors in encouraged.  

Fresh drinking water is available as well as other beverages.

I will have ice chests on site if  you desire to bring personal beverages or snacks according to your needs.

NO ALCOHOL PLEASE

No Smoking or Vaping is permitted in or around the Forest Shelter. 

Please refrain from perfumes and strong scents for our day.

Cancellation / Refund policy

This is a NON-REFUNDABLE event. Due to the nature of this type of event, there is no refund available for any reason except if the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond my control.  

You are allowed to Transfer your ticket if you  are unable to attend.  Thank you so much for your kind understanding. Cancellations and refunds can result in a serious loss of income and ability to plan future creative events. This is why so many creative entrepreneurs such as myself must hold a strict non-refundable policy. Transfer of your spot is always an option if something comes up for you, but we will trust that YOU WILL MAKE IT !
