Many women struggle with a negative body image that diminishes self-confidence and personal empowerment. Our sense of self-expression becomes muted as many women dim down from a place of body loathing and shame.
In this evening presentation, artist and body positive educator Pamela Sue Johnson will offer a blueprint to inspire a gentle and loving approach to a relationship with our bodies that is uplifting. A woman who fills content and at home in her body will radiate compassion and self-acceptance that cultivates deeper self-love.
"When we love our selves best, we love others better," says Pamela who is quick to point out that she is not a therapist. "I am an artist and also a body positive educator," she says, "my credential is from lived experience in that I have transformed from being a woman estranged from my body to a woman who loves her body. And when that happened, my whole life changed."
