Body Positive Workshop

The relationship some of us have with our body is often negative. Instead of celebrating the body we have Right Now – what I call our Today Body – many of us instead struggle with body shame and body loathing.

In this Body Positive Workshop for women, participants  will be guided into starting a gentle and loving conversation With Your Body. Using the tools of journaling, group discussion and creative exercises, you  will be inspired to develop a positive body image that leads to increased confidence and self-love.

I’ll share from my own journey how I finally found body love and positivity as an out-of-shape woman in her fifties. For most of my five decades of life, I have only known body shame…until I decided to change my story with my body.

Limited to ten participants, this  Body Positive Workshop is designed to allow for rich discussion and personal reflection in a small and supportive group.

JOURNALS PROVIDED.

Hosted at the portrait studio of Darina Neyret who has a focus on body empowerment in her portraiture,  we  will be in a  safe space  and distraction-free zone where we can focus  together for a time of discovering a more loving and gentle relationship with the home we call our Body.

(please note that our meeting space is on the second floor. There is no elevator available. There is a spacious stairwell with banister rails.)

Cancellation Policy

This is a non-refundable workshop. Due to the nature of what I offer, I am unable to provide a refund or credit to a future workshop. You may transfer your spot to another person if you are unable to attend. Just let me know so I can add their name to the roster.  In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond my control warrant canceling the event, participants will receive a full refund.
