About the Event

Body shame and body loathing is rampant among women of all ages, sizes and creeds. It is as if we were taught to be chronically dissatisified with our body no matter what we look like.

In this workshop, I will guide you with simple creative practices to lean into body love through

  • writing exercises
  • collage art
  • acrylic painting

Imagine paying attention to your body, especially the parts you do not like, and learning how to celebrate when you look at yourself in the mirror instead of cringing (or avoiding!)?

What if you could love your body Today instead of waiting to love  the future body you hope to have?

What if tapping into your creativity could be a way  for you to develop an inroad

 into dismantling body shame?

What if art making could help  nourish a loving connection to your body?

I can show you how to anchor down body love  using  simple creative art making  techniques to cultivate a genuine, loving relationship with your body.  Art heals. Art restores. Art as self-expression can be a powerful, effective tool

to Empower Yourself with Body Love.

This class is appropriate for anyone who identifies as female 16 years and older. Limited to just 12 students.
