Step into the forest, exhale deeply, and return to yourself. Art in the Woods is a one-day retreat for women seeking creative renewal, heartfelt connection, and the quiet magic of the natural world.

Join for a day of painting, collage, journaling, and nature connection in a pristine wooded setting nestled between the scenic Lewis River and Copper Creek. This is a day designed to rewild your heart, nourish your soul, and reconnect with your innate creativity in the company of kindred spirits.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or simply curious, this experience welcomes all levels. You'll be guided through accessible, expressive art practices, reflective journaling, and moments of stillness and solitude—all with the forest as our art studio.

Things to Note

There are three friendly dogs on the property who will welcome you and likely hover around us all day when they are not napping or finding sticks to play with.

For this reason I am unable to welcome your pet. If you have a service animal, please reach out in advance to alert me so we can coordinate your arrival and help facilitate your needs and your service animal's introduction to The High Lonesome trio who are Annie, Scout and Maggie.

Wear sturdy shoes as we will have a guided walk together and you will also be given some time to wander into the solitude of the forest.

Bring your own lunch. There is a refrigerator and microwave available to use.

This is a rain or shine event. Dress accordingly to the weather forecast.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds or future credits available due to the nature of this event. You may transfer your spot to another person if you are unable to attend. Let me know so I can add them to the list. In the unlikely event Art in the Woods must be canceled, you will receive a full refund minus the service fee.
