The forest is lush with inspiration and quietude for those seeking a time to replenish heart, mind and body.
Join me for a time of art making at Wildwood, a forested recreation park  at the base of Mount Hood, just one hour from Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.  We will gather at a shelter under the canopy of tall firs, cedars and hemlocks for a time of guided  art making, journaling and a gentle forest walk.Â
What to Expect : Â There will be three sessions of art making including collage, sketching and watercolor painting. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. Â This creative time is suitable for curious beginners as well as the more seasoned art maker who wants to practice and grow their skill. You will be guided step by step with each art making session.Â
Limited to just 15 participants, this day retreat of creative magic in the woods  will be  nurturing and memorable.Â
ALL ART SUPPLIES PROVIDED in your registration.Â
JOURNAL - Bring your own journal and fave pen for writing prompts designed to provoke reflection and nurture self-awareness and compassion. Â
FOOD AND BEVERAGE - Â Â Plan to bring your own lunch. Â Â Cold drinks will be provided including lemonade, ice tea and water.Â
Personal Comfort
There is  a clean and easy to access restroom with flushing toilets close by to our forest shelter. Walking paths are paved and mostly flat. Appropriate footwear for the outdoors in encouraged.
More Details : Our art making will be three sessions : Â Collage, sketching and watercolor painting. We will be working on 9x12 watercolor paper with step by step guidance. Â Each participant will make at least 3 Â artworks. You will surprise yourself with the art you make !Â
Creativity of any kind is a proven practice that helps manage anxiety, stress and depression. Journaling is also a time proven method for helping sharpen clarity with our thoughts and feelings.
