Art Day in the (Rainy) Woods

A forested woodland shelter. 

A cozy fire burning in the woodstove.

Cool temps and gentle rainfall   as you settle in for an afternoon of art making and creative camaraderie.

Join me for an intimate time of an Art Day in the Rainy Woods.  While I cannot promise it will be rainy (we can hope!) I can invite you to be in a cozy shelter in a lush Pacific Northwest forest with a wood burning stove.  You will be guided in a time of watercolor painting and mixed-media. NO ART EXPERIENCE NEEDED. This is a gentle art form  ideal for beginners and seasoned art makers alike. 

All supplies provided in your registration. 

We will also share a meal together of homemade beef stew (vegetarian stew an option if needed) and home baked cornbread. 

There is a scent in a rainy forest that cannot be duplicated anywhere else. It is one of my favorite times to be in the woods. We will be protected and warm(ish) in a well constructed forest shelter will roll down tarp windows if it gets blustery. October usually brings early fall rains that mist and drizzle from the gray skies. Whether it's rainy or dry, we will be in a comfortable space with a wood fire and overhead heaters.

Bring a jacket for extra warmth according to the weather. Bring a rain coat if you'd like a jaunt in the woods if it rains ( I hope, I hope, I hope!!!).

This will be an enchanting time designed to nourish heart, soul and body before the quiet of winter settles in upon us. 

$125 per person includes everything. You just bring You. 

COVID Protocols

We will observe current COVID mandates.

Our forest shelter is an outdoor venue.

Masks are not required. Each participant is encouraged to take care of their health.

Personal Comfort

There is  a clean and easy to access restroom with flushing toilets close by to our forest shelter. Walking paths are paved and mostly flat. Appropriate footwear for the outdoors in encouraged.

Fresh drinking water is available as well as warm beverages.

Cancellation / Refund policy

This is a NON-REFUNDABLE event. Due to the nature of this type of event, there is no refund available. You are welcome to transfer your spot to another person.

In the unlikely event that this event must be cancelled a full refund will be provided minus the service fee.
